Aqua park of Santa Cruz
Aquaparque, located in the Municipality of Santa Cruz - in São Pedro, is the ideal place for those looking for moments of family fun. The infrastructure, unique in Madeira, consists of five slides, fast lanes, two saltwater pools, one for adults and one for children, a fast river, a slow river, three water slides, and one “Black-hole”.
The Aquaparque has a capacity for more than 1000 people and is open to the public during the summer.

Lido Galomar Beach Complex
Located at the Galo Resort, a hotel in Caniço de Baixo, the Lido Galomar Beach Complex is a blue-flagged beach, with a salt water pool with children's area, an internationally awarded diving center (Manta Diving Center) and also several water activities like Kayak and snorkeling.
The access to the bathing complex is done in two ways: by stairs or by a panoramic elevator that has the particularity of running on solar energy.
The complex also has a bar service, changing rooms, bathrooms and a medical post.

Palm Beach
Praia das Palmeiras - Palm Beach, a beachfront complex located on the seafront of Santa Cruz, is ideal for a family beach day. Awarded the Blue Flag for over two decades, this pebble beach offers visitors, in addition to its clear waters, two saltwater pools (for adults and children), changing rooms, showers, toilets, first aid and access to persons with reduced mobility.
Palmeiras Beach also has a lifeguard during the bathing season (June-September) and a year-round catering area.

Garajau Strand
Integrated in the Partial Nature Reserve of Garajau, the first Marine Reserve in the country, Garajau beach, at the foot of an imposing cliff, is characteristic for its calm and crystalline waters that guarantee excellent conditions for diving. The variety of marine species is one of the main attractions for lovers of this water sport.
This pebble beach can be accessed by car, on foot or by cable car.
In addition to the facilities to support bathing, Garajau beach also offers a help station, diving center and restaurant area.

Reis Magos
The place Reis Magos, located in Caniço, is an area which is very characteristic for its pebble beach and its clear and clean waters, and its quality is proven by the blue flag acquired by this beach. Next to the sea, there are some business establishments related to the restoration and the practice of sport. There is a small cluster of popular houses built in a basalt stone apparatus, formerly owned by fishermen. After the beach there is a promenade, all of it with its path located by the sea.
The area of Reis Magos also houses two large tourist establishments, the Hotel Riu and the Four Views Hotel Oasis, both four star accommodations.
